Marion-Polk Chapter of Medical Assistants
Marion-Polk Chapter of Medical Assistants serves the Salem area and surrounding communities. The primary focus of our Chapter is to provide quality continuing educations to our members and medical assistants that serve the patients in our community.
The Chapter provides education to AAMA members and medical assistants of the local community 3 to 4 times per year. Educational meetings are conducted on Saturdays at Salem Hospital in the CHEC (Community Health Education Center), located inside Building D of Salem Hospital. The meetings provide 3 hours of continuing education on a variety of topics. The education is open to anyone interested in attending. CEUs are free to members, but there is a cost to non-members.
Marion-Polk Chapter conducts business meetings in conjunction with educational meetings, as well as separate times as needed. The Chapter is open to all members and is an opportunity for members to share ideas. All meeting notices are sent via emails to members regarding business meetings and educational meetings.
